Encounters

This series began by molding paper over wire armatures to create sculptural reliefs. I start intuitively with no plan, but as they develop they become creature-like, whimsical forms. As I connect them with grasses and vines, they float across the wall, interacting with each other while creating shadows and movement. Chance encounters of imaginary beings.
